What types of accommodations are available at Mullan's Bay Estate?
We have different accommodation to cater for parties from 2 - 18 guests. Please speak to a member of our team for recommendations on which property best suits your needs.
Can I book a room with a view of the lake?
Yes, several of our properties offer stunning views of Lower Lough Erne.
Do all types of accommodation have a hot tub?
No, our Platinum Lakeside Lodges and The White House are the only properties with hot tubs.
Is Wi-Fi available at the estate?
Yes, each property is fitted with its own Wi-Fi router.
Are there any restaurants or bars on-site?
No, however we can recommend local restaurants and bars upon your arrival.
What activities are available at Mullan's Bay Estate?
We offer a quad-pulled train tour around the estate for our tiny guests to enjoy! Mullans Bay is also home to a magical fairy trail. We also have a full sized tennis court for guests to enjoy.
Can I rent water sports equipment at the estate?
No, however guests are welcome to bring their own equipment to use on the lake.
Are there hiking trails near the estate?
Yes, the infamous Cuilcagh boardwalk also known as The Stairway to Heaven is a 50 minute drive from Mullans Bay or if you want something closer we would recommend Castle Caldwell Forest which is a short 10 minute drive.
How can I book my stay at Mullan's Bay Estate?

Do you provide bed linen and towels?
Yes, both are provided for our guests.
Where do I get firewood for the woodburning stove?
We provide a large complimentary basket of firewood including firelighters. Additional firewood can be purchased on site at £5 per bag delivered.
Is there an additional charge for cleaning at the end of the holiday rental?
No, there are no cleaning charges.
How much deposit is required and how do I pay it?
A 20% deposit (minimum £50) is sufficient at booking and the balance is payable on arrival. Ebanking is the preferred method of payment, or by cheque. Sorry we don't have credit/debit card facilities.
Do you require a deposit for breakages/damage?
Yes a security deposit of £200 for The Apartment or The Lodges and £500 deposit for all other properties. Payable in cash on arrival and refunded on checkout assuming no breakages or damage has been caused.
Are pets permitted at any of the properties?
Sorry, pets aren't permitted.
How close is the nearest village?
The nearest village, Kesh, is just six miles from Mullans Bay.
What places of interest nearby would you recommend to visit?
We thoroughly recommend a visit to the world famous Belleek Pottery, to Castle Caldwell Forest Park and (if you wish to travel a little further afield) to the beautiful sandy beaches of Rossnowlagh and Bundoran.
Is there a good local restaurant close to Mullans Bay?
Our nearest local restaurant is Lusty Beg Island, just a mile away.
Is it possible to get an online shop delivered to Mullans Bay?
Both ASDA & Tesco will deliver. 531 Boa Island Road, Kesh BT93 8AB is the delivery address to use for all Mullans Bay properties.
How do I get to Mullans Bay?
Mullans Bay is registered on Google Maps
. If you don't have Sat Nav, we are located approximately six miles from Kesh on the A47 as you travel towards Belleek.
Are friends & family permitted to visit us during our stay?
Unfortunately our insurance only covers guests who have a reservation so we are unable to facilitate visitors on site.
What is provided and what do we need to bring?
All our properties are totally self catering so you need to bring everything food or drink related.
In the bathrooms we provide a starter pack of toilet rolls & handwash. We don’t provide shampoo, shower gel or any other toiletries.
In the kitchen we provide tea towels, washing up liquid, bin liners & dishwasher tablets. We don’t provide tea, coffee, kitchen roll, tin foil, condiments or sauces.
Are the kitchens well equipped?
All our kitchens are well equipped including fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a good selection of pots & pans, cutlery & Delph. With the exception of The Apartment all properties have a Dishwasher.
